The New Rules of Relaxed Tailoring
Softer shoulders. Better proportions. Less effort.
Start with the essentials
Relaxed tailoring starts with the shoulder. Look for a jacket that follows its natural line without feeling rigid, then check that the sleeve allows your shirt or knit to sit comfortably underneath.
Find your balance
Pair a roomier jacket with trousers that fall cleanly from the hip. A slight break above a loafer or plain trainer keeps the silhouette intentional. You do not need a matching suit to make the proportions work.
Make it your own
Texture adds depth without noise. Brushed wool, fine cotton and a soft merino knit can sit together in similar shades. A simple watch and well-kept shoes finish the look.
